To my daughters ,

To my girls,

I am writing this letter to you with the hope that you will be able to experience a world that is sustainable and safe for all living beings. As I look back on the present, I see a time where our planet was facing a great crisis, one that threatened the very existence of all species on Earth. However, I am confident that we have taken steps to tackle this crisis and pave the way for a better future. Businesses have started to prioritise sustainability and have taken measures to reduce their carbon footprint. Communities have come together to raise awareness about the importance of protecting the environment and have taken steps to reduce waste and promote sustainable living. Our elected leaders have recognised the urgency of the situation and have taken bold actions to combat climate change.

I hope that the steps we have taken today will bear fruit in the future and that you will inherit a world that is cleaner, healthier, and more sustainable than the one we live in now. I hope that you will be able to enjoy the beauty of nature, breathe fresh air, and drink clean water without any fear of harm.
