Paul Salman's Letter
My children,
Our consumer lifestyle fuelled by oil is unsustainable. The byproduct of burning fossil fuels is changing our atmosphere. The pollution is affecting how are climate behaves. We are seeing more intense storms, heat waves, droughts ,flooding and the consequential destruction of forests and wildlife. We can expect to see human migration and an increase in conflict. The problem seems massive and overwhelming.
Therefore I think I need to think and act locally and encourage others to act
This means doing what I can and en masse we need to encouraging our leaders to take action. I am writing to my MP and others, encouraging sustainable activities and spreading the word when I can.
I believe that we can create a momentum but it needs a good majority of us to engage.
I hope that proves to be the case.
