Zachary My new great grandson,

I hope my new great grandson will enjoy a visit to the wonderful Scottish Isles in his lifetime. His great grandmother and I have recently visited Shetland, Yell and Unst whilst touring in our motorhome. Whilst visiting it is shocking to witness the plastic waste products in the beautiful small harbours. I would love Zachary to visit one day in the future in the knowledge we have eradicated this menace to wildlife, why are we not doing more? Ban plastic bags, end off! Ban non biodegradable coffee cups, if it doesn’t recycle ban it. Costs and financial gain by companies are no longer the priority as we need action now no matter what the cost or young people like Zachary will have little nature to enjoy in the future like we are so privileged to enjoy now.
