To my future self,

I hope you are well. Do you still walk through the moors, beaches and fields? I hope you can still listen to birds whistling and insects humming through the woods. I hope you can swim through crystal clean streams alive with dragonflies, water vole and willow. I hope you climb mountains, wrapped in their solitude and stillness.

Are you settled in a community which works with nature, growing food and resources for those you love. Did you sing in this years spring with friends? Or dip in the icy, electric sea to awaken you from winters slumber?

I hope we have done enough to preserve these loves for you, and the world you live in values these things more than mine.
