Lisa Smith's Letter

To my daughters,

I will not be there to protect you from the destruction which is coming. But I can fight as hard as I can to limit the damage. We need to protect nature - the trees, the seas, the marshland, all the vast array of life - and we need to stop burning fossil fuels. We must stop looking to short term profit and what we can extract from the Earth. Instead, we need a new way of thinking that sees ourselves as one part of the complex web of nature. I will do what I can to spread this message.
