To my son Tom,
Dear Tom,
It's my dearest wish that the world you find yourself in is the world I'd hoped for you, a world that recognises the fragility of life on earth, life worth fighting for. I hope that the changes and choices I made and the actions I took, however small, were not in vain and were a part of a mindset shift that ultimately changed the world for the better. I hope that you and others of your generation are the beneficiaries of such a change, a change that you so passionately fought for, so that you can continue to protect and nurture our wonderful planet for those generations beyond - this is my hope for your future.
