J's Letter

Dear my future self,

Today you started your volunteer role with the Woodland Trust. Later this year you will be starting a Masters in Environmental consultancy. Both combined, you are pursuing a future in education. Specifically, the education of young peoples and their connection with the natural environment.

6 years ago you went into a Primary school to see what their views of the future looked like. When asked to draw pictures, they drew piles of rubbish, littered oceans and a burning planet.

I hope you will endeavour to change this doomed world view and reconnect with communities around you to bring about positive change.
