Cathy's Letter

To my two children,

I sincerely hope that by 2030 your generation can start to look forward to a future without fear or anxiety and that our generation have fixed some of the many mistakes we have made over the decades. I dream of a future where wildlife is no longer endangered, where our populations are under control, where we choose kindness over cruelty, where we value human and animal life, where we encourage biodiversity, where we stop contributing to climate change and actively strive to reduce it, where we minimise our consumerism and where we give our beautiful planet the opportunity to breathe. If we can start to put as much of this as possible into action now then you, your peers and your own offspring can truly look forward to an amazing future where we live in harmony with Earth and its many and varied inhabitants.
