To my son, Nick,
My beloved son, I hope that in ten years you will have fulfilled your wish to become a Dad yourself. I hope these awful Covid years will sink away and your experience of terrible Covid symptoms will be forgotten.
If you are a Daddy (& I am a Granny) I desperately hope that we will see a decent, healthy, fair and safe future for your child and the warming of our planet will be kept to 1.5 degrees. If this does not happen it will be terrifying to consider the world when your child is an adult.
I so hope the politicians of now do the right thing and ACT for the emergency as was done for Covid.
