Grandson,
Your Grandchildren's future flourishing depends on our planet. Oh how I wish my generation put their future ahead of our 'progress'.
We didn't need travel as much as you need clean air-but we travelled and polluted your
air anyway.
We didn't need building developments as much as we needed fertile land to grow food to feed you- but we built and destroyed your growing space anyway.
We didn't need plastics- toys, bags, and fripparies as much you need clean oceans for a sustainable planet-but we chose cheap convenience over your life sustaining ecosystem.
Oh, my precious Grandson. How could we have been so careless with your future? Will you learn from our mistakes and safeguard the future of your Grandchildren? Please.
