To my daughter Katie,

I know you don't share my passion for nature but I do know that you care about the world and would be devastated if birds and animals suffered. I am old to you with older people worries, but my biggest worry is what this world will be like for you, so we do what we can to save wildlife and save energy. I hope it was worth it and I really hope you enjoy the world you are now living in, for being beautiful.
