Helen Connell's Letter

To my daughter, Ruth,

I want you to know first of all how much I love you and then I want to tell you how I hope the world will be in 2030.

By 2030, I hope the temperature will have stabilised and that governments around the world are committed to changing the way we generate electricity and use fossil fuels to cook food. I also hope everyone on the planet from the smallest microbe to the largest animal will be thriving and safe. We cannot afford to lose any more species and we humans need to take every action necessary to save our world and every one in it.
