It is tempting for over-worked politicians to allow climate change concerns to slip off the agenda. (Contrary to the normal barrage of stinging criticisms, I think most politicians are honest and attempting to improve the world).
About 30 years ago when concerns about global warming were becoming known among the general public, a record-breaking high temperature would have been maybe 0.1 degree above the pre-industrial average. In UK this summer 2022 the record-breaking temperatures were alarmingly about 1.5 degrees above the pre-industrial average.
Please keep action on climate change on every agenda.
