To my daughter,
To my hunney,
I am sorry. You had a great childhood and you grew up so positive, so excited about your future. I let you build plans and expectations, all the while writhing inside as climate breakdown unfolded and our safe predictable planet rapidly starting changing before our eyes. I let you enjoy a normal life, a carefree life, while knowing that your future will be anything but. I have tried, have tried to change minds, to speak up, to shout and scream, to beg, to influence, but I am just me. Your mum. I am sorry.
